If you are getting numbers > ~5 in ovusers, it means that you have reached the number of users allowed in your tbconfig file. If any of the ovXXXX fields are > ~5, you can fix it easily by just upping the parameter in the tbconfig file, shutting down Informix and restarting. If that's not the problem, keep looking to define the flags. Please post if you figure out the flags anyway. Good luck.
