onunload and onload error

We have a 1.2 gig table ( 562557 pages ) that we used onunload to create a tape in order to remove the table and restore to the dbspace after removing all tables from it to remove the fragmentation that had occured on this dbspace over the last year. All other tables were unloaded to filesystem space but the table in question is to large ( hence the onunload to tape ). The onunload went through without a hitch. However after removing all the tables from the dbspace ( after a level 0 archive to be safe ) the onload keeps failing after approx 4 hours and 99% into the restore ( based on the onstat - u for page writes) for the onload session. The error is simply "Cannot read buffer". No error messages appear in the online.log file and no numbered informix error message appear either. I will be eternally greatfull to anyone who can shed some light on this as my only other possible alternative is to restore the level 0 archive. John DeSilva MCS Limited
