Meaning of drcb_bqe
Posted in 1998
I have another challenging question which may shed some light on
my long checkpoint problem:
What does the abreviation "drcb_bqe" stand for?
Here's the context of the question.
NOTE: Only the pertinent lines of the onstats are shown.
onstat -l has the following entry in it:
Buffer Waiting
Buffer ioproc flags
L-3 4004e754 0x1 0
onstat -u shows the iproc address belongs to this thread:
Userthreads
address flags sessid user tty wait tout locks nreads
4004e754 Y-BPX-- 3336 jdoe 13 400a1648 0 1 553
The thread is waiting on something at address 400a1648, which is not a
lock or a latch since the tout is showing 0. So what is associated with
address 400a1648?
onstat -a shows the following info:
Conditions:
cid addr name waiter waittime
70 400a1648 drcb_bqe 0 -1
So what does drcb_bqe stand for?
I try to keep my queries on the net to a minimum since I know that
everyone else has other things to do, but this one is definately not in
the manual and has really got me stumped.
