The default value changed from 0 to 2 and this forces the optimizer to work cost based. In about 90% of all your queries this will result in a better performance, about 5% will become slower. Possibly you invoke these slower queries very often. Try to set OPTCOMPIND to 0 or simply set the environment variable OPTCOMPIND=0 before you run your application. Bye Stefan
