Rename Dbspaces

Does anyone know of a safe way to rename a dbspace? I can't drop and
recreate the dbspace, because it's the "home" for a database, and the
database is too large for dbexport/dbimport.
A related question I would also ask-- How would one rename (or move) a
chunk. I know the preferred procedure is to use links, however, if an
earlier DBA didn't, then what would be best way to rename or move chunk?

Moving a chunk is somewhat easier. If all you're doing is moving a chunk,
you can create a mirror on a linked device where you really want the chunk
to live (these can't be the same slice!). Then, after it synchs up, offline
the original chunk, and remove it from the mirrored pair.

As far as I know (and I've even checked TFM!) you can only remove a mirror path, but never the original. I'd be delighted to stand corrected, as this would provide a method of copying a database server with the same host. Neil
