ODS 7.20 with KAIO on SCO 5.0.4

Hi, this may be off-topic, but I don't really know where to post. I have a SCO 5.0.4 server with Informix 7.20.UC3 installed. I would like to try using KAIO, and the release notes say, I have to install aio and suds, which I (supposedly) did. Then I set KAIOON=1 and reinit Informix, but onstat -g ath still does not show any kio vps. What is wrong? The file /etc/conf/sdevice.d/suds and aio resp. show a Y in the second column (meaning it is installed) TIA, Kai
