Hello, Can you please tell me if making 2 IDS RHEL servers trusted is IDS version dependent? What I mean is if there is a restriction of the IDS version in order to make the servers trusted. I am trying to make an IDS 10 trusted with IDS 12 on Linux. Thanks, Vasilis

No, as long as the trust method you're using is supported on that IDS version. Are you getting any error? If yes, please share the error from online.log, not from the client. Regards. Hello, I get the following error when I try to connect on the other server: 908: Attempt to connect to database server (ol_informix1210) failed. ISAM error: record is locked. I setup .rhosts, hosts.equiv but the error is still the same as above. Thanks, Vasilis

Your version 10 engine doesn't seem to have the proper information about Informix 12 in it's $INFORMIXSQLHOSTS or there is some network connectivity issue. It has nothing to do with trusts (yet) Regards.
