Manipulating Image data using VB & ODBC & IConnect

Has anyone tried to manipulate image data using VB methods getchunk, appendchunk? I'm having trouble with this. I created a small table with 2 columns in Informix: "create table test (col1 smallint, image byte, primary key (col1))" Then I'm using a small VB program to perform two operations: 1. Write a record with an image (using appendchunk on the Blob column) 2. Read that record. The problem is that when I try to read the record informix returns an error "invalid cursor position", nevertheless I can read perfectly well the value from col1.
