Hi!
I wouldn't know about drivers (I usually use Informix on Unix with
ESQL/C linked into application tool I am using, Prolifics), but if you
are more or less just loading ASCII files to database, it is much faster
to use loader (or even 'load' statemet from dbaccess), even if you must
first 'massage' your raw data (I often use perl for that purpose).
