Hi
We are having IDS 7.31 UC3 on HP-UX
when I entered onstat -p, %cached(4th column from left) is showing 0.00 ,it is
for reads i think.
But earlier it was showing 90%.
What could be the problem? Is this normal?
How to get it back to 90%?
Pl help..
Suresh
First guess is that the numbers for that display have overflowed.
Reset all 'onstat' stats to 0 with "onstat -z".

I've found this once before and the problem was field overflow, probably your
instance is online such a long time,
try "onstat -z" to clean this counts
