Memory resident tables

Hi Group, Can anybody provide any info. about memory resident tables? I would like to put out some data from one/more table for faster processing. Thanks in advance, Rana

If you have IDS 7.31+ you can simply execute: SET TABLE mytable MEMORY_RESIDENT; or just the table's index: SET INDEX idxname MEMORY_RESIDENT; or only one or two fragments of a table: SET TABLE mytable (last_month_dbspace, this_month_dbspace) MEMORY_RESIDENT; If you do not have 7.31 you do not have this feature.
