Table ownership

Hi, I would like to move a large table from one database to another. Is there a way (ie. command) to have a database take ownership of a table sitting in another database without having to drop and rebuild it? I'm using IDS 7.31. I'm guessing the answer is no but I thought I'd send the question anyway. Thank you, Tony
