Mailing Label Program

Does any have or know where to get a good 4gl mailing label program. I have excerpted the one from the 4gl By Example book already. I need it to be able to handle either lasers or dot matrix, 1,2 or 3 across. And work with most of the common comm packages (ProComm Dos & Win) and others. It would be nice if it worked on the premiss of a configuration file that can be taylored to each user. Or, as an alternative, are there printer drivers that I can incorporate into the program?
