You did not mention how you are trying to access your database. I am using the following SetNet32 Environment Settings to access a similar SAP/R3 database through ODBC: CLIENT_LOCALE=3DEN-US.8859-1 DBLANG=3DEN_US.CP1252 =20 When I use Informix-CLI 2.5, I also have to set COLLCHAR=3D1.
