Temp Tables

Has any one heard of this: I have a program that creates a temp table, the user is in an input statement then goes to lunch. Another user (at another terminal) is running the same program and is in an input statement then goes to meet the first user for lunch. They have a good time and are gone for 3 hours. When they return they find that the temp table has been cleared of information - wiped out.
