ODS and Star-Query

We are planning to build a data warehouse with Informix Online Dynamic Server 7.24 using extended parallel option and advanced decision support option. Three Questions: 1. Does Informix ODS 7.2x support star queries? 2. What problems do I have to expect running star queries, except from full table scans, which are inevitable in a DWH environment, as I learned. 3.
