RE: Defining chunks and extents using RAIS 5

On this line of thinking... Does anyone know if you set up RAID 5 with Disk Suite for solaris if the raid 5 metadevices created are usable by informix? (In disksuites docs it says, that to use them a application would have to have its own way of accessing the raw device). And if they are do you set them up like you where setting up a normal raw device for informix? (At this time I am using raid 1.) Better than nothing. :) Thanks david.tamburin@protegrity.com > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org > [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.org]On Behalf Of Art S.
