We want *all* of the 4GL command set, data types and functionality in SPL :) OK, I'll settle for everything except screen i/o. Never let it be said I wasn't prepared to compromise. I do what Kerry does; use SPL to launch 4GL programs on the server. Long time ago, I wrote all my report progs in 2 parts. Prog1 gets the report parameters and launches prog2 with command line args in background. Now with SPL, I can do the same thing from a client, GUI app using 1 small SPL. Works great.
