The next serial value for the one permitted serial field in each table is
stored
in the table's partition header, also know as it tablespace tablespace page.
You
can view it through the SMI/sysmaster interface:
select serialv
from sysptnhdr
where partnum = <table's partnum>;
To search by tabname, join to systabnames:
select dbsname, tabname, serialv
from systabnames st, sysptnhdr sp
where st.partnum = sp.partnum
and st.tabname = <mytabname>;
