RE: Stored procedures cache

The easiest solution would be to try to combine these stored procedures. Now I've read in Informix Unleashed that the cache can store only 16 procedures at a time and that it is not configurable to store more of them, however, in Gonzales: Stored Procedure Programming it says that the cache stores about 50 objects and it increases automatically when necessary. Can someone tell me what really is the case for OnLine 7.2? The application has 100+ stored procedures (I didn't write it, so don't blame me) and, needless to say, has to run as fast as possible, so reloading stored procedures should be avoided. Thanks for any info. Cheers, --Micha
