Numbers of userthreads after engine is up

Hi All: Recently, we upgraded informix from 7.20 to 7.23 on a new HP server (K270) which has 4 CPUs vs 1 CPU on our old HP server. After bringing up engine (oninit), I noticed there are 13 informix users with 'onstat -u' command vs 4 informix users on old system. Besides, the number of processes is 77 with UNIX command (ps -ef | grep oninit|wc -l) vs 19 processes on old one. Does anyone know what is the cause of these changes?
