Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

There is a very specific set of conditions where you may issue a kill -9
to
the sqlturbo on a 5.0 engine that will not crash the server.
First, you should issue the 'tbmode -z PID' command. kill
-1/-2/-3/-13/-15 may
come after that without problem.
If the sqlturbo is still there, check the 'tbstat -?' (I can't remember
the flag)
for running informix processes. If it isn't there (and probably won't
be) then
you should be able to kill -9 all you like.
