Dynamically Changing Graphics

I have a number of PC's running over a TCP/IP Network to a Unix box running Informix. I also have Q+E and Inet V5.01 to provide access to the database from within my Windows Applications. Using this facility through Microsoft EXCEL is absolutely excellent given the graph capabilities of EXCEL. ( I am sure that the other popular spreadsheets are just as good!! :-) ) My question is, after retrieving data into my spreadsheet from a SQL Query, can I have that spreadsheet automatically update the data as it changes in the Informix Database?? Currently, a snapshot of the database is basically what you get and only changes when you re-execute the query. However, wouldn't it be nice to have a graph automatically changing in tune with the data as it is entered into the Informix Database?? Any suggestion as to either how can I do this??, OR, is there a product which does do this and if so, what would the impact on performance be??
