Neil, v. 9.21+ is shipped in two different packages (at different prices): 1. IDS 2. IIF (IDS + Java-in-server + Web datablade??? + Exculibur(ETX)???) For some reason, I don't see Web datablade in the IIF package I've downlaoded from PA site. We should definitely verify with IBM sales rep ------------------------------------------ Alexey Sonkin -----Original Message----- From: Neil Truby [mailto:neil.truby@ardenta.com] Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2004 8:43 AM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Web datablade One of our customers, with licences to use v9.40 and a current support contract, wishes to try out the web datablade. However, it's not available for download on their (or any of our other customers') PA download site. It *is* available via the main IBM website but only upon payment of '8,500 by credit card :-( I thought that IDS v9 customers were entitled to use the datablades for nowt: is this wrong? I asked UK Tech Support but was basically told that if we were entitled to it it would be on the PA webiste. thanks Neil Truby t:01932 724027 Director m:07798 811708 Ardenta Limited e:neil.truby@ardenta.com sending to informix-list

It's sometimes difficult here in England, especially with summer holidays, to find people at IBM who know Informix inside-out, especially this kind of arcane question ....
