I don't know of any translators, and I would think that some restructuring and code changes will most likely be in order. First, you need to deal with special functions and pseudocolumns/tables available in Oracle, but not in Informix, such as NVL, ROWNUM, DUAL, DECODE, TRIM, etc. Then you have to fixup things like outer joins and updates with subselets on the same table. Also, Oracle allows much fancier "group by" and "having" expressions. And you have to add FREE statements for cursors and prepared statements in Informix. Oracle sequences will require convertion to serial fields of some other mechanism. Any data dictionary references will have to be changed. You may have to add "begin transaction" statements, depending on what mode your database will be run in (ANSI vs Informix). Lets see, have I missed anything here? Good Luck!
