Are you inferring that Informix DB servers aren't available for NT? What about IDS for NT, or IDS-DE or IDS-WE or IDS-PE (Windows 95/98)? These 'editions' as with IDS-LE tend to be as 'full power' as the OS allows. Cheers, -- Mark. +----------------------------------------------------------+-----------+ | Mark D. For my two cents I've found Informix on NT to be buggy, for example continous log
backups with onbar don't appear to work properly with 7.31TC2 and the page
cleaners didn't wake up properly with 7.30TCx. The high performance loader also
seems to have problems loading very short records.
I've used Oracle quite a lot, and it also has it's faults. One early release on
NT I was supporting didn't support logging of the database

Jay,
In your other post, specifically mentioning your onbar problems, you noted
that you are using SP5. The TC2 release is not certified for NT versions past
SP3. For SP4 and SP5 you need TC7 or later. This may be most of your trouble.
I post here instead of replying to the other post to clear up any confusion.
