We had the same problem on HP-UX 10.20 and OnLine 7.20.UC3. Even INFORMIX themselves did not have onprobe/oncockpit in house on that release for that O/S. The solution for us was to go to 7.22.UC1. Since you are already there . . . try calling Tech Support.
