ESQL/C DATETIME + INTERVAL

Hi, My name is Burt Smith. I'm a Computer Specialist with the UNISYS Corp. We have an older version, 5.0, of Informix ESQL/C. I'm attempting to use ESQL/C DATETIME and INTERVAL data types to compute the Greenwhich Mean Time. However, the ESQL/C Programmer's Manual is not very clear on how to perform arithmetic operations w/ these two data types. I've successfully used it in 'flat' SQL select statements & with 4GL. Can someone provide an example of adding DATETIME + INTERVAL in ESQL/C....Please! thx! -Burt smithh@federal.unisys.com
