Hi everyone. I can't seem to locate any formal documentation on installing ISQL or actually any of the Informix tools. The IDS engine and client/connectivity install guides are available but I can't find anything on tools. Does anyone know where the ISQL (or general "TOOLS") install info/guides are located? I know it is very simple but still would like to look over any formal documentation. Basically for ISQL the steps are just... login as root tar xv0m ./installsql enter your serial number enter your authentication key Thanks

Hi. The installation steps are in the SQL USER GUIDE under "Introducing INFORMIX-SQL".
