Informix 2.80 ODBC driver w/ PowerBuilder-bug?

Does anyone happen to be using the Informix 2.80 ODBC driver (bundled with the 9.20 Client SDK/IConnect) in combination with PowerBuilder? The ODBC driver seems to work just fine with non-PowerBuilder interfaces, but when used with PowerBuilder it looks like it displays _some_ values in integer columns as zero, even when a non-zero value is in the database?? Is that ancient Indian burial ground under my office acting up again, or has anyone else experienced this? allen
In article <37D94A04.47FE9965@ndr.com>, The word I've gotten, and support, is that the 2.80 driver is not worth the money (free). What we've done is use either the 3.10 or 3.11 odbc driver included with the later versions of sdk, downloadable from the net. good luck allenj <allenj@ndr.com> wrote: > Does anyone happen to be using the Informix 2.80 ODBC driver (bundled > with the 9.20 Client SDK/IConnect) in combination with PowerBuilder? > > The ODBC driver seems to work just fine with non-PowerBuilder > interfaces, but when used with PowerBuilder it looks like it displays > _some_ values in integer columns as zero, even when a non-zero value is > in the database?? > > Is that ancient Indian burial ground under my office acting up again, or > has anyone else experienced this? > > allen > Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Don't know if it will help, we we have been using native PB drivers for INF7 using 7.23.TC1 I-Net drivers for years with no problems.
