Moving IDS server to Berbee hosted VM server

I am currently managing an IDS 10.00.UC6 (100 GB) instance running in a VM on RH Linux 4.0. There server is going to be moved to Berbee (Madison, WI) using their Hosted Enterprise Infrastructure Services. In other words they will manage the VM on their own boxes. The question I have is the primary storage for this server will now become "High-performance, SAN-attached, enterprise-class disk." What do I need to do differently in dbspace layout now that I will using a shared SAN and I suspect a single device representing the disks vs what I have now which is local disk and multiple devices allowing me to balance the dbspaces and I/O across multiple devices?
