IDS 7.3 on WINNT Install wont start

Hi, I'm installing 7.3 on WINNT4 (because its a copy of an old system...) and getting this message when I try to start the service: "Cannot create file when file already exists". The rootdbs.000 logdbs.000 files (etc) have been touched, but are of size 0 bytes. The eventviewr give the message. Any ideas ? regards Nick
