Informix Online backups using CA-UniCenter

Good Morning Everyone. I have a client that is running Online 7.12.UC2 ans has a product called CA-Unicenter. CA-UniCenter is a graphical tool to help (?) make system administrations easier. Ons of the features of this product is the electronic labeling of magneic media. I have tried and tried to get this #)$&*%@# thing to work with ontape or onarchive. I think my nly hope is to back the database up to a unix file and then backup the unix file with CA-UniCenter. I know, dont fill up the disk. Any other suggestions would be welcomed.
