Hello all, I'm planning to install IECC for "monitoring" all ( about 40 instances ) of Informix. All the database servers are residing in UNIX. And the client agent planning to install in Windows NT. IDS versions are 7.23, 7.24 , 7.31. Can i have IECC versions ( Comes with 7.31) for monitoring all these versions. Do i need an ODBC driver in the NT server.? Or is it just the client agent process talks to the Server agent process? Manual says i need to have one server agent process per instance. Does it any way hurts the performance of servers? These are the questions what i have now? Thanks in advance. Dhanesh

No. 7.30 and up only. Servers will need 'startsa' script present, and the versions that do not come with this, cannot talk with IECC. Still, you can use ROM for them. > Do i need an ODBC driver in the NT server.? No. >Or is it just the client agent process talks to the Server agent process? Several people have noticed that IECC Server Agent reads something from disk every 15 seconds, but this is that terrible to hurt performance. >These are the questions what i have now? Now?
