If Informix character-based 4gl apps are ported from a
UNIX environ to NT are they still available in character mode, eg. via a
telnet session to the NT machine? Or, must they only be accesible in
GUI-ified form?

D4GL apps are executable from either the GUI or character based runner
on a number of platforms without modification.
