Re: AW: dbimport error - FR 153256

Feature
Request FR153265 (entered by Yours Truly on 2001-10-10) covers=20
this:
DBIMPORT CANNOT IMPORT SOME DATABASES SUCCESSFULLY IMPORTED WITH DBEXPORT.
DBEXPORT CANNOT EXPORT SOME DATABASES AT ALL.
The long description starts "If you have a table that requires a=20
description bigger than the size of a single SQL statement (eg, a table=20
with lots of columns ..."
The tables DB-Export has problems with are those owned by a 'user' with=20
non-alphanumeric characters in the name - created with DELIMIDENT set in=20
the environment.
To import the table, you will have to take the DB-Export file, remove the=20
references to this table (foreign keys? stored procedures? permissions?) =
and save them in a separate file.
Run the rest of the import.
Split the 'CREATE TABLE' statement into one CREATE and several ALTER TABLE =
statements.
Add the references to this table that you previously saved.
