Much of thing has been: ...Not much work for 4gl developers... I don't know in other countries but in mine you don't see _every day_ (ever= y month... every semester..., every year better)that a 4gl job is needed. I agree in the advance of 4gl and related tools, but I agree that not much = 4gl jobs are needed, at least in my country (Colombia). Guys, just wondering; did anybody here ever tried (one of the) dodo bird(s):=20 4Js, Querix, or opensource Aubit 4gl compiler? I'm asking because it seems from a lot of discussion that a lot of=20 people are not aware how advanced they realy are... from GUI to HTML to=20 Web Services to multipe database and XML support... For instance, looking at 4Js Genero features list, and the number of licenses sold, that dont look like a Dodo to me... So, when you look at Genero (for instance), what is missing that makes it a Dodo? Just please don't say "it's not Java" - that is like saying Audi is not good because it is not BMW. :-) Andrej Falout ----=3D=3D Posted via Newsfeed.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet New= s=3D=3D---- http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 New= sgroups ---=3D 19 East/West-Coast Specialized Servers - Total Privacy via Encryptio= n =3D--- Jean Sagi jeansagi@myrealbox.com jeansagi@yahoo.com sending to informix-list
