Sorry, Art . . . .it wasn't meant as a criticism . . . I really enjoy
myschema . . . . much more flexible than dbschema . . .
No longer having 9.xx online . . .? Doesn't sound good . . . . did
you have to revert back to 7.3x?? If you don't have 9.xx in house,
then how can you code the fixes? I know that you're good, but . . .
wow . . . . 8-)

I did not take your post as criticism. Just wanted to let everyone know
I'm on the case!

We only use 7.31 here, mostly because we are still running many servers on
a desupported platform (don't ask!) and partly because I'm not doing the
DBA stuff here anymore and the guys who replaced me are not quite as brave
nor as assertive. I had a 9.21 instance on one machine for testing and
for maintaining the utilities on 9, but it was taken down to release its
disk space for reuse. I actually coded the original functional key
support using only the manuals and some sysindices dumps someone was kind
enough to send me and look how good that turned out! So I guess I am
really not THAT good! ;-)
Anyway I now have 9.4UC2 up on Linux 7.3 and have completed recoding the
functional index key support. Anyone brave want to exercise it a bit for
me? This is a major rewrite to all of the 9.xx index handling so it needs
a good shakout before I'll post it to the Repository and I don't have
nearly enough data in 9 to test it thoroughly.
