default '19' in date field

Does anyone know if there is a way to change to default '19' appearing in a date field? EG typing 10/01/97 pads it out to 10/01/1997. Useful at the moment, but not after 1999. Actually, it may be that the software will know it's the next century and put 20 in accordingly. Thanks, Rich. http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~richh
