Can't drop down dbspace

I've been restoring a development database from very old backups (long story). Due to errors doing a full DB restore, I restored the critical dbspaces and 1 user dbspace. Logical restore of the next dbspace fails in the same logical log, probably due to a corrupted index. So that dbspace can't be brought online. I'd like to drop this dbspace, along with it's contents, and just recreate/reload it. However, I can't drop the database because the dbspace is offline and I can't drop the dbspace because it contains data. I'm a relative newbie to informix and any help will be appreciated.
