NVL function and VARCHAR(255) fields BUGS ;)

Hi! I had found the following problem: (WinNT, Informix ODS 7.3 TC3) Let we have the following table create table b (a varchar (255)); insert into b values (1); And then we perform the following script: select * from b where NVL(a,"0")="" Strange thing, but it returns all rows from b while this script had nothing to return. If length of a less than 255 everything is OK. ;) Is it the TC3 problem and does it solved in future releases?
