This can be done with the reporting facilities in Power-4gl which is a tool-kit to enhance the user interface of Informix-4gl. The package enables you to define printers such that page length, font size and paper orientation are automatically set depending on the printer definition and the report width. Reports can be first viewed in a two dimensional scrollable window before being released to the printer.
