My finger slipped while I was typing, and the next thing I saw was "Mail sent". I hate it when that happens :-( Jon, Is this an existing tape drive (one which the OS has been configured to use), or has this tape device just been added? If the tape drive has just been added, and you are using Windows NT 3.51, did you run Program Manager - Main - Windows NT Setup - Options - Add/Remove Tape Devices - Add and add the device? Or, if you are using Windows NT 4.0 did you run Start - Settings - Control Panel - Tape Devices - Devices Detect & Drivers Add I believe that you have to be logged in as administrator on the local machine to accomplish this, but I could be mistaken. -- Regards, Walter S.
