informixcli & web problem -> it must be a FAQ !! :)

hi, has anyone out there tried to connect retrieve datas from a web appication (via idc, asp or cold fusion) .. everything runs ok at design time and i can access without problems the informix db, let's say in msaccess. when i try to get the datas within a web application i get the error : unable to load locale categories .. it's an informix-cli error .. it doesn't depend on the odbc drivers. i came to understand why it does not work and i find a couple of workaround .. i wonder if there is a 'good' solution .. or some parameter i ought to set in the informix-cli setup workaround 1: it works with cold fusion .. it's a parallel server procees to IIS : set the cold fusion service logging to the system not as the 'default' sysytem user but as the user that installed the informix-cli (the admnistrator :( ) workaround 2: using asp or idc: go to the registry when u r logged as the 1 who installed informix-cli .. copy the entries in current_user/software/informix/environment create the entry informix/environment under software in .default user .. paste these entries.. it seems as if informix-cli when is called by the IUSR_<computername> user looks for some entries in the registry he can't find (so where does it looks for them) or he he's not allowed to read .. it doesn't work if u promote the IUSR_<computername> as administrator and u set up the informixc-cli with the setnet utility .. again .. it works at design time but when you run it via the web .. the same error
