Dbimport Problem (A)

As far as I know dbexport and dbimport have a limit of 2 GB. Now dbimport stores7 -t /dev/rmt0h -b 16 -s 4096000 Header size error ,block size should be 16K,tape size should be -196608K and the program aborts Trial and Error revealed that it works if dbexport with tape size 2097150 We use the same block size , tape size for ontape and it works fine. restoration also tested and found Ok Why it is not showing any error while dbexport ?
