Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello All
I need to run oncheck via cron, and in case of errors, notify me via =
email. I have used this strategy for running ontape via cron, because I =
read on this group that ontape returns a exit code:
#!/bin/ksh
ontape -s -L 0 <<EOF
EOF
ontape_failed=3D$?
if [ $ontape_failed -ne 0 ]
then
... do error processing ...
fi
... etc, etc ...
I would like to do the same thing with oncheck. My question is: Does =
oncheck return a exit code same as ontape?
TIA
