What version of ISQL are you running? I could have sworn that under 4.1 you could redirect the messages. I think they go to the stderr though so you'd have to do it something like >isql dbname load.sql 2>/dev/null I'll try it when I get to work Monday. Now you've got me curious! Take it easy. --- Frank
