4GL Programmers Wanted (US-NY-Buffalo)

One of the nation's leading specialty wholesalers of branded information processing products, office products, and peripherals with offices in Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the US is looking for: 4GL Programmers Candidates will be developing and modifying applications for the Canadian implementation of Azerty's Wholesale Information Network System (WINS). Responsibilities include extensive programming in Progress 4GL, Requirements Analysis, Design specifications, Quality control, Technical documentation, and end user training. Candidates should have: ' 4 year degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related degrees. ' 1-2 years experience in 4GL languages (Progress, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, SQL, SPSS, or Dataflex), C/C++, or Networked PC DBMS. ' Knowledge of WDSII and Unix/Unix shell scripts is a plus. Programmer/Analysts Candidates will research and write design specifications, conduct user interviews, develop applications, manage project timelines and programming resources. Other responsibilities include Quality control, and user documentation. Candidates should have: ' CS degree, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related degrees with 3 - 4 years experience in systems analysis. ' Large project experience in 4GL implementations (Either in Programming or Systems analysis) ' 2-3 years experience with Database Administration.
