Adjacent Key Locking/"Twin Problem"

I've just received a longish (9K) tech document from Informix (my favorite instructor of all time, Mary Schulte **thanks**), regarding the "twin problem", also known as adjacent key locking. I've seen discussion of this in the newsgroup and the tech document is very detailed. This document has solved a problem that we've had for a year. Up to now we've had sqlturbos fail with no reason. Now we have a reason. If you're having problems with unexplained locks during deletes, inserts, and updates, you may be seeing this problem. Due to the length, I won't post the doc unless requested.
