physical log space problem

With a recent installation of Informix 7.22 TC 1 on NT 4.0 SP1 I am experiencing a problem with the physical log space. When Informix starts up it issues a warning message 'physical log space 100 is to small, must be number of user threads * 20'. The Informix manuals tell me about the the same, unfortunately it doesn't tell me what the unit of those 100 is, is it bytes, KB, MB, pages? The database was automatically configured by the installation program of an application (BaaN IVc), which created a physical log space of 100 MB, and set the onconfig entry PHYSIZE to 100. I considered that last one wrong and changed it to 100000 but the warning message remained the same. So the question is, what is a reasonable value for a dedicated physical log space for 25 user threads? Kai home: stuke@iname.com work: kstuke@systec-ag.de
